Orchestra Baobab - Roots and Fruit: 7 (B+)

# [comp] Tracks 1-7 are taken from the albums Bawobab 75, Adduna Jarul Naawo, Une Nuit Au Jandeer, plus one PU (previously unreleased), all from the mid-1970s. Remaining tracks 8-12 were recorded a decade or so later in 1986. So, a hodgepodge. You can immediately tell when the back 5 later tracks kick in. At least 4 tracks appear on other comps I have or will review. Inessential, although nice, especially in spots. Very restrained guitar work by Barthelemy Attisso, barely noticeable throughout.
