All but two of the tracks on this ("Release Me" and "A Little Unfair") are on later CD-era comps, but I have this on vinyl from before those were released, and I am keeping it. I also have and will eventually post about the Look What Thoughts Will Do compilation, and I put The Best of Lefty Frizzell [Rhino, 1991] on the sell pile because all of its tracks are on Thoughts. I also looked at Columbia Historic Edition, which is another Christgau pick. I wish maybe I had that instead of the above, because that one has four songs, distinct from the two on the above, that are not on later CD-era comps. Anyway, I listened to those many times, and can do without them. Thoughts seems basically perfect. For the record, the four unique songs on Columbia Historic Edition are:
"Cold Feet"
"Mama!"
"King Without a Queen"
"No One to Talk to (But the Blues)"
