Normally, I would pass on a compilation like this that has several different African music styles on the same album (in this case, soukous, juju, and highlife). But this one is good; it actually flows nicely; it's from Stern's (whose legitimacy in the area is beyond question); I already own it on a nice first generation CD issue; and it's from the early days of African music releases in the US/UK, in which this kind of hodgepodge sampler was forgivable.
