I've basically been a dunce about this album, wavering from the current assessment to "liked" in my least appreciative moments (which in my defense is not that huge of a range). Many, many plays, all of which have been troubled by the fact that the album was terribly recorded. Anyway, having a copy completes my collection from Witch Trials through Kurious Oranj. I have the 1999 reissue on Cog Sinister without any "bonus" tracks (that is, the original 11 tracks, running 45 min 42 sec). It does sound like an analog transfer, even at that late date, but so be it. The poor sound has become one of its defining features anyway.
